Trésor -
Sonoma County
[ $60 ]
Exceptionally intense and concentrated in flavor, the 1999 Trésor has ripe, fruit-driven flavors, soft tannins
and good balance between oak and fruit. All the fruit comes from vines growing in shallow, rocky soil that adds an impressive
depth and intensity to its flavors. The wine is a dark glowing garnet red, with black cherry, plum, cassis and cedar aromas.
In the mouth the fruit flavors of black cherry and plum dominate, mingling with warm cedar, eucalyptus and the sweet toast of
French oak. The finish is long and smooth.
